Sarah Deveau

I'm a freelance Salesforce Consultant who is passionate about using technology to make a difference in the world. I have over 15 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, and I've worked with a variety of clients, including nonprofits, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. I spent 13 years at Verizon Enterprise, working on a wide variety of projects and initiatives; my first tech career position was in 2005, and I never looked back! I completed my BS in 2014, but left Verizon in 2017 after a widespread reduction in force eliminated my department. My layoff was a wake-up call. I realized that I wanted to use the skills I gained to make a more impactful difference in the world, rather than maintain the status quo found in a 9-5 role. So I started my own consulting firm, partnering with organizations like Supermums.org to build and maintain Salesforce instances, giving real world experience to help individuals successfully enter the Salesforce ecosystem. I'm currently leading an international volunteer team of Salesforce specialists, consultants, mentors, and mentees. We're working together to build and maintain Salesforce instances, while also giving real-world experience to help individuals successfully enter the Salesforce ecosystem. I am passionate about using technology to make the world a better place; I believe that every individual deserves to have someone helping them achieve their dreams.
