I’m a teacher by background, but along the way I found myself in career development. It turned out to be a great way to combine my love for education with helping people move forward in their careers.Right now, I work with the SIMHE team at Metropolia (Supporting Immigrants in Higher Education), where I coach highly educated immigrants and guide them toward study and career opportunities.Before that, I was part of the International Talent Employment Service at the City of Helsinki, where I worked directly with jobseekers and partnered with companies interested in global talent.My roots are in pedagogy, and I’ve taught at different levels, from primary school to university.
